The pretty red flecks are apple skin!

Lately I'm all about the pulverized fruits and eating whole foods in general. (You'dda been so proud -- last night instead of having more blue potato Terra Chips, I had an apple!)

This smoothie was made with the leftover mango puree for my Coconut Cashew Mango Bread (recipe may follow, if it's good), 1 small Washington gala apple (chopped, not peeled), 1 banana, and 1 blood orange (peeled and seeded). Blend till smooth. Add a dash or two of cinnamon. Blend some more. Sip and enjoy.

When this glass is empty, I'll have eaten close to 4 whole fruits, and that's a meal I can feel good about.
