Guess what I'm going to eat lots and lots and lots of? In fact, I'm probably going to make a full-blown big deal out of it and invite people over and pretend it's an actual real American holiday my family has been celebrating for generations.
Oh, and by the way, Dan made bagel pizzas out of those bagels I made yesterday. They were very delicious. (The photo is less than, but I don't care.)
But back to Vegan Pizza Day. Whether you're vegan or not, you should celebrate by making or buying a vegan pizza (or two or three). Just to be awesome and say you did.
Here's my vegan, yeast-free, fat-free (unless you'd rather not) pizza crust recipe if you want to make your own. I use this recipe almost exclusively. Perfect every time.
Whether Jew, Gentile, or some other third thing, I hope you have a very merry Vegan Pizza Day.
Yeast-free Applesauce2 cup flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
2/3 cup water
1/4 cup apple sauce (or vegetable oil)
