Five dollars, Five days

The sweater is done!

Pattern: $5 in Paris by Anna Peck
Yarn: Caron Simply Soft in Grey Heather and Autumn Heather
Needles: US 8 and US 9 circulars
(On Ravelry here.)

I knit this sweater in five days--with just five dollars' worth of yarn. (I stocked up during Michaels Dollar Days and bought two skeins of either color for $10, but I only used half of it. I guess I could make another whole sweater...)

I completely love it. It's soft, warm, drapey, and darn cute (if I may say so myself, and I think I may).

If you're still kind of new to knitting and/or you're completely afraid of knitting a sweater, this is a great pattern to start out with. It's easy-peasy, inexpensive, and (if you don't have a job) super fast to knit!
