I found this in the Feb 2007 issue of MIX Magazine (page 111):
Ocean Way Recording Studios hosted sessions with Canadian rock band Sum 41. Lead singer Deryck Whibley produced the tracks in the custom API-equipped Studio B while his wife, Avril Lanvigne, mixed tracks for a new release in Studio D.
She can do that? That's neat!
Or is this one of those things like "I can sing cuz I'm a Disney Channel star," but someone had to work his or her butt off to make said Disney Channel star sound remotely decent? Is some poor mastering engineer going to say, "Oh, crap, they're sending over that Lavigne stuff today"?
